How I completely changed my life in two days for an unpaid internship(my girlfriend made this title)

HA! I bet you thought I would never make another blog post again. Well, haters you were wrong! My throngs of fans will be overjoyed to see that I have made my THIRD blog post in over a year. I know, I know, I'm pumping out so much content it's difficult to keep up with. Just try and take it alllll in

Anyway, I'm moving back to Asheville, and I'm almost this happy !

Seriously though, I'm pretty psyched. I mean, it was a pretty difficult decision for me leaving a job I hated to go to a place I love... well, I guess it wasn't that hard. We made a pros cons list of what I'd be giving up by moving to Asheville. Here's a little summary

Moving To Asheville

Cons

  1. Lose middle class income
  2. Lose insurance
  3. Be the disappointment of my father
Pros
  1. Quality of Life
Honestly, when it came down to it, it was a pretty simple decision. I don't have any kids to support(that I know of), I have an amazing girlfriend that wants to move with me, and it's about to be climbing season.

If anybody cares to know, the impetus for the move is that my girlfriend got a job unpaid internship at Shay Brown Events and it seemed like a good enough reason to make the move. I'll be working at the climbing gym again doing route setting, coaching the team, and other fun things like vaccuming and cleaning up after parties. YES. Honestly, I'm really happy and grateful that I'll be able to work at the gym again and be a part of the great climbing community in Asheville. Big thanks to Stuart for helping me out in my time of need.

So, in conclusion, I'm psyched. Because after all..

(only once you live)

P.S. if anyone's getting rid of furniture let me know =).
